Picasso Imports respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information. It covers our website, dealership services, connected business accounts, and customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Information we collect
We collect the details you provide in vehicle, financing, trade-in, contact, or service requests. These may include:
- Your name, email address, phone number, address, and contact preferences.
- Vehicles you are interested in, appointment details, messages, and trade-in details.
- Your address, housing, work, and income details for a pre-approval request.
- Your consent choices and records of your contact with us.
- Documents you submit through a designated upload feature.
We may save messages from our website chat or assistant in our CRM. This helps our team respond.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, payment-card details, passwords, or bank login details in general forms or chat.
We and our service providers may also process website use data. This may include:
- Your IP address and browser and device details.
- Pages you visit and the pages that brought you to our site.
- Dates, times, and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Answer your questions and provide vehicle details.
- Set up appointments and review trade-in requests.
- Help with financing you request.
- Provide dealership services and keep records.
- Prevent misuse and improve our website.
We ask for consent before sending marketing messages when consent is required. You can choose whether to give that consent. You do not need it to buy a vehicle or send us an inquiry.
Separate financial privacy notices and lender disclosures may apply to financing. This website policy does not replace them.
Our Facebook Page connection
With staff approval, our Facebook connection can publish vehicle inventory posts. These posts appear on the Picasso Imports Facebook Page when the connection is enabled.
Posts may include vehicle photos, descriptions, prices, mileage, location, and a link to the listing.
Automated inventory posts do not include:
- Customer contact details.
- Financing applications.
- Private messages.
- Uploaded customer documents.
To run the connection, we process:
- The approved Page ID and Page access token.
- Post IDs and details about publishing status or errors.
Access tokens are credentials that allow the connection to work. We keep them on our server and do not display them publicly.
You do not need to sign in to Facebook to use our website. We do not ask for your Facebook password.
If you contact us through Facebook, we may use the details you share to respond. We may also keep a record of your inquiry. The inventory-publishing connection does not itself import private messages or customer profiles automatically.
Meta handles information on its services under its own Privacy Policy.
Our Google Business Profile connection
When enabled and approved, this connection retrieves dealership reviews. We use these reviews to manage them and display them on our website.
The information may include:
- Business account, location, and review IDs.
- Reviewer display names, ratings, and review text.
- Dates and dealership replies.
We keep the credentials for this connection secure on our server. Website visitors do not need to provide Google passwords.
We use information from the Google API for the review features described here. The API is the service that connects our systems to Google.
We do not:
- Sell this information.
- Use it for personalized ads.
- Use it to decide creditworthiness or loan eligibility.
We limit access and sharing to approved use of these features. Permitted security or legal purposes may also require access or sharing.
An authorized account holder can revoke the connection through their Google Account permissions. They can also contact us about information we already hold. Revoking access does not delete existing records by itself.
Google handles information on its own services under its Privacy Policy.
When we share information
Authorized dealership staff and service providers may process information as needed for:
- Website hosting and CRM operation.
- Communications and security.
- Document handling and dealership services.
If you request financing help, we may share relevant details with financing providers or lenders. Applicable disclosures and authorization still apply.
We may disclose information when the law requires it. We may also disclose it when reasonably needed to protect rights, investigate misuse, or maintain security. The extra limits in the Google section also apply to Google API information.
We do not sell or share text-message opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Providers that help deliver our messages may process the information needed for that service.
Cookies and your choices
We use cookies or similar browser storage to:
- Run essential website features.
- Support security.
- Remember your preferences.
Some optional features need consent. These may include marketing or third-party chat features. You can accept or decline them through our consent controls. Use Cookie settings in the website footer to review or change your choices.
You can decline optional features and still browse inventory or contact us.
Your browser may offer more controls. Blocking essential storage can affect how the website works.
Calls, texts, and marketing choices
We may contact you about requests you submit using your chosen contact method. We obtain any consent required by law.
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. You can also contact us to change your contact preferences. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out of marketing does not stop messages required by law. It also does not stop other permitted messages about an existing transaction.
Document uploads
Use the designated secure upload features to send requested documents. Read the notice shown with the upload feature. It explains the purpose, who can access the documents, and how long they are kept.
Temporary copies from our document-scanning feature are scheduled for deletion after seven days.
Records separately transferred to dealership or lender systems may be kept longer. They may be needed for transactions, recordkeeping, or legal reasons.
Do not attach sensitive documents to an ordinary privacy-request email. If we need more details to verify your request, we will explain how to provide them appropriately.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy. This includes:
- Responding to requests and completing transactions.
- Keeping required records.
- Resolving disputes and preventing fraud.
The time we keep information depends on the data, its purpose, and applicable obligations. Google API information is also subject to Google’s applicable retention and deletion requirements.
How we protect information
Our safeguards include encrypted connections, access controls, and protected credentials on our server. We limit access based on operational needs.
No website or method of sending information can guarantee complete security.

What to include
Please provide:
- Your name and a contact method we can use to respond.
- The name and email address or phone number you used with us, if different.
- For Facebook requests, your relevant profile or account display name. Include the Page name, link, or ID if you know it.
- The approximate date of your interaction, if available. Include a relevant post, inquiry, or other reference if you have one.
- The information or action your request concerns.
Share only the details needed to find the relevant records.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, App Secrets, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, or sensitive documents with your request.
How we handle your request
We review your request and take reasonable steps to verify your identity or authority. We do this before sharing, changing, or deleting information.
We may check the details against our existing records. We may also contact you through a contact method already linked to those records. We ask only for information reasonably
